Lately I’ve found deep joy in this repetitive morning routine I’ve undertaken. I go for a 1-2 mile walk and then make the same dang breakfast over and over. It’s been nice to settle into a routine after all the travel of this summer. The hyperfixation breakfast is avocado with Tajin spread on toasted sourdough & topped with veggie bacon. Then I make a vegan parfait with soy yogurt, berries, pumpkin flax granola, maple syrup, and, sometimes, if I’m lucky enough to find some at the store, a thin layer of oat milk chocolate pudding on the bottom. Damn good stuff.
